FERGUS, ONT.-Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Joseph Racinsky was recently named the Parliamentary Assistant to The Minister of Red Tape Reduction, The Hon. Andrea Khanjin. Premier Doug Ford released a statement saying, “It is my pleasure to welcome Ontario’s new and returning team of parliamentary assistants, who will step into key roles in their ministries,”. Premier Ford also stated, “Now more than ever, our team of Parliamentary Assistants is ready to support our government’s mandate to protect Ontario and build a stronger and more competitive economy that can withstand whatever comes our way.”
The Ministry of Red Tape Reduction provides better services for Ontarians, reduces costs for businesses, and makes it easier to work with the Provincial Government. Red tape is a significant barrier to the province’s economic development, productivity, and growth. To date, this government has saved both people and businesses over $1 billion and 1.5 million hours each year.
“I’m looking forward to assisting our government in delivering on our strong mandate to protect Ontario.” said Racinsky. The Legislative Assembly of Ontario will resume Monday, April 14th where Racinsky will work to represent the constituents of Wellington-Halton Hills.
