Ariss, ON – On Friday, local MPP Joseph Racinsky joined Hopewell Support Services at their location in Ariss to celebrate a $184,600 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The grant will support vital accessibility upgrades, and the development of an inclusive, therapeutic outdoor space designed to improve the lives of individuals with complex developmental disabilities.

Hopewell ensures that every member of our community can reach their full potential and live a full and fulfilling life. Enjoying the outdoors is such a critical part of this and I can’t wait to see what Hopewell does,” said Joseph Racinsky, MPP for Wellington—Halton Hills.
With this generous OTF grant, Hopewell is transforming its two-acre outdoor property into a more accessible, sensory-friendly, and engaging space. Upgrades include the installation of accessible walkways, a renovated communal deck for dining, sensory garden elements, and outdoor activity areas. These changes are expected to benefit approximately 200 individuals annually, enriching their quality of life and promoting well-being through nature and community connection.
